After this trip,we decided to work on traditional trades in Georgetown and the solution will be a pop up booklet.

Its fun to use clay to make a mold for one of our solution------mascot <3 

This is the part that I am working on.

In the apron of the bear,you can see there is a clear map of the location of stalls and some description on it.

Behind the bear,there is also a storyboard telling the history of the street and also the stalls.

Finally...we had done three of our mockup and we realise its morning and have to rush to Dr.Nurul class.

After had dicuss with Dr.Nurul and Chris,we found out there are many problem on our solution.

First,the mascot...What material are we going to use?cost?Why using bear?where to place?

Secondly,resting place....What material?if steel isit it hot in this hot weather in georgetown?Cost?Where to place?isit illegal to built it infront of shops?

Thirdly, diamond shape games...Isit convenient to hold it?How to keep it?

Fouth,bycycle tracks.....isit really can paint this on th road?isit create problem?dangerous?

After propose to Dr.Nurul,our idea cannot be used as it will disturb the local stalls owner and we did not used the proffesional skill as a graphic designer.So,we will start it all over again and come out another solution regarding to our problem.

Design brief

Sketches on the new ideas on how to solve the problem of local stalls so that their popularity can be increased using skills as a graphic designer.

Idea 1:

My sketches on one of the idea.

We will using a bear with charateristic of stall owner wearing apron with a map of location of local stalls as a mascot to give free hug to everyone that pass by.This can attract people to snap photo with it and thus increase the popularity of local stalls and interaction with others.

Wisely use the fascilities in Georgetown city as a poster to promote local stalls.

We apply our poster on the cyclist and motorish path.

We came out a games that can interact between stall owner and customers by collecting stamps or stickers and thus will get discount on the products selling.This can incresing the popularity of local stalls in a fun way.
